LIZ + AMY on Instagram: "If you’re painting a color you may as well paint it all the same 😜By painting the walls and ceiling the same color, it actually draws the eye up and makes the ceilings feel taller., therefore the room larger. This seamless look works best if you have a fair amount of natural light. We have two windows as well as our dining room with tons of lighting pouring in. I also prefer the monochromatic look and don’t love the contrast of a white ceiling. Another tip- paint your trim in a higher sheen. That way there’s a subtle difference between the two materials.
