25K views · 309 reactions | TWO charming ways to create beautiful dried flower ornaments perfect for your holiday decor, entertaining, or gifting! 🌲🪻 These would also be great to make at a holiday party, I always love having an activity for guests to do! They’re beyond simple to make and look gorgeous! COMMENT “flowers” below and I’ll send you the supplies I used! SAVE this post for the next time you need a fun holiday craft for a party! 🌸 I filled clear glass ornaments with dried flowers, wrapped them with ribbon, and used a white marker to personalize them! These make beautiful tree ornaments, place settings, present toppers, or party favors. I love to decoupage; it’s very relaxing, actually! I used decoupage glue to attach pressed dried flowers to clear glass ornaments. These are elegant ornaments that look amazing on the tree or as unique favors for a holiday craft night! Supplies: Clear glass ornaments Dried flowers (pressed and regular – find them online!) Ribbon Decoupage glue White marker Directions: For Flower Fillers: Remove the top of the glass ornament, fill with dried flowers, replace the top, and wrap with ribbon. Use the marker to add names for a personalized touch! For Decoupage: Brush a layer of decoupage glue onto the ornament, gently press the dried flowers in place, and coat with another layer of glue. Let dry. These ornaments are so simple yet stunning, adding a charming touch to any holiday celebration! | Sugar and Charm

The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me. I will not shut out the lessons that they teach”. - Charles Dickens I had to modify a few details in creating my Victorian Christmas tree. First off, when I went to string the popcorn for the garland, I had several cats and two dogs at my feet begging for it. Second, I have yet to find a tree topper that suits what I like. But I am loving the dried oranges, the tin ornaments that I made, the flickering candles, and of course, the little red birds and tinsel. All things brought to us from the Victorian era of decorating Christmas trees. Joining friends today, and sharing inspiration for Christmas decor from the Victorian Era. Could you tell which one was real velvet? 🎄✨ Here’s what you need to create your own: • Clear shatterproof ornaments • Paint (color of your choice) • Foam brushes • Baking soda • Dry brush • Spray paint (optional) I removed the tops of the ornaments to spray them bronze (optional) and so I could dry the ornaments upside down. How to: 1. Paint your ornaments with your color of choice. Always do a second coat—this step is key! 2. Before the second coat fully dries, sprinkle baking soda over the surface. Feel free to make it as thick as you like. 3. Let the ornaments dry completely, then brush off the excess baking soda with a dry brush. 4. Once dry, replace the ornament tops and hang them on the tree. Enjoy your DIY velvet-look beauties! ✨ Which color would you try first? 👇 #DIYOrnaments #ChristmasCrafts #diyvelvetornament #diychristmastreedecor #diyholidaydecor #VelvetLookOrnaments #HolidayDecor #DIYChristmas #ChristmasTreeDecor #CraftyChristmas #OrnamentDIY | Ashley Galliher
