When Heidi from Forged in the North saw the wedding space at Hotel on Rivington, she immediately started conceptualizing ideas for a styled shoot that brought together the city views and moody lighting. She called upon planner and wedding designer Brita Olsen Creative to help style the elements and bring some warmth to the space. The result is this gorgeous shoot that plays on subdued hues, crystal accents and candlelight that would be perfect for an intimate wedding reception on the Lower East Side. Rich colours of plum, lavender and blush came together in creative florals by Mimulo, who used ranunculus, hellebore, tulips, muscari, and roses in the loose organic arrangements. Mimulo also created a stunning ceremony installation of floating florals that seems to be hovering over the city skyline.
