𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐠, 𝐏𝐓, 𝐃𝐏𝐓 - 𝐀𝐂𝐋 𝐑𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐛 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 on Instagram: "💥𝐆𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡💥 👉Tag someone who should try this exercise! 🙋‍♂️One of my favorite muscles in the body is the glute med. it plays a large role in controlling the knee and I don’t think it’s emphasized enough in rehab and training. 🏋🏼‍♂️Here is an extremely hard glute med exercise, a weighted side plank leg raise hold. We are using a 10 pound plate here. 🤷🏼‍♂️A few big things to watch out for: 1️⃣ Don’t rotate the hip, keep it pointing straight up 2️⃣ Don’t let the top leg go forward 3️⃣ Try to abduct the top leg above the body if you can 🧠𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐡 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞?
