Don’t take my word for it, just check all the positive reviews and comments. You’ll be happy with the results every time. You will need: 7 pounds trimmed beef brisket 1 cup barbecue seasoning: a mix of ( 3 tbsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper, 1 1/2 tbsp salt, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tbsp onion powder) 1/2 tbsp black pepper, 1 tbsp salt barbecue sauce to served. Preparation: Line the pan with foil and parchment paper. Brush with canola or vegetable oil on both sides. Season the brisket liberally on both sides. For this recipe I added 1 cup of seasoning mix. Iprovided the seasoning amount for 1/2 cup above. Cover with parchment paper, foil paper and seal well. Leave it on the counter top for 1 hour to come room temperature. Place in a 285 degrees F oven for 5 1/2 -6 hours or until internal temp is at about 200 degrees F. Wait 1/2 an hour before you slice against the grain. Enjoy with the most amazing barbecue sauce and potato salad.
