Let me share with you how I did this. I actually use these Ikea frames that come in a couple different sizes. They have a mat on the inside and then some scrap fabric I had on hand but the best part is it's totally customizable so you can use whatever fabric you like. I used some spray adhesive on the top of my mat and my frame. Let me share with you how I did this. I actually use these Ikea frames that come in a couple different sizes. They have a mat on the inside and then some scrap fabric I had on hand but the best part is it's totally customizable so you can use whatever fabric you like. I used some spray adhesive on the top of my mat and my frame. Press that onto the fabric and then cut around the outside leaving myself a little allowance just so I could fold it over and on the backside, I secured that down with some hot glue. Now, to fold the corners and make them look nice and neat. It's just like wrapping present. You're just going to fold the corner over. I used some hot glue to secure it on the backside there. Then I cut off all of the excess and on the inside I snipped around leaving just a little bit that I was able to then snip the corners. Add some hot glue and just press that fabric up inside. Now for the mat itself you're just going to wrap the fabric on the inside. Cut around the edge and pop it in your frame and that's all there is to it. It's totally customizable and you can do different fabric on the mat, different on the frame and mix it up.
