Thanksgiving Mayflower DIY Craft Centerpiece Gratitude Ship Fun for Kids & Adults to Make

Create a fun mini pirate ship using paper plates, wooden dowels, paper and a few other materials. You can also tweak a few things and make the Mayflower ship, an English ship that brought the first pilgrims to America.

We woke up this morning to rain clouds and snotty noses. I was supposed to run errands. She was supposed to attend the Thanksgiving party at preschool. But we stayed in our jammies, left our hair unbrushed, and opened up the art box. Cotton balls and glue. Paper and paint. I don't know about you, but I have had a tough time over the years finding any decent free Thanksgiving themed papercraft. Most of it is too simplistic for my taste.
