Update and ramblings

Hello crafty friends I hope your keeping well! So my new year resolution about blogging went well..... I've been so busy with the girls and other things that I'm just finding it hard visiting you all and although I would love to spend everyday browsing your blogs it's impossible at the moment so I'm going to apologise for you lovely people who leave comments and I haven't replied back I'm so sorry, I wish I had more time.

I've still been crafting and finding a bit of time some evenings so that's something.

Poppy is still not sleeping through so I'm sure once she is I will have a bit more energy and can spend more time visiting you!

I thought I would show a few cards I made recently but I just want to thank you all for being so great!

  4. Hi Vicki, lovely to see you with your wonderful cards. Great images and designs.
You will have your hands full, especially with Poppy not sleeping through, I can well imagine your running on depleted energy. Don't worry, you just pop in when you can, take care, Kate x

  5. Hi Vicki,
lovely to see some of your wonderful work again.
They are all so very fab, and lovely.
I can quite understand about your time as children are a priority, and not blogging.
I don't think if I was blogging when mine were growing up I would have had the time either.
Still you are managing to do a little crafting, and that's wonderful.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  6. These are wonderful Vic. No apologies necessary, I remember what it's like to have a nocturnal littley. Connor, our youngest, didn't sleep through the night for two years!! When he was really little I'd feed him then sit in the office doing the company books!! xx

  9. Oh I feel for you. Lack of sleep would make me crazy. You are still cranking out some beauties though. Love the kitty card the best! Then again, I am kitty crazy (which is nicer than not-enough-sleep crazy)

  10. You know Vicki, I don't know how you mother's do it! When I had my 6 boys, I didn't have the time to craft-well scrapbooking back then, but I didn't get to do it a lot. And I didn't do blogs when either, would have never had the time to comment on blogs when my boys were younger. So trust me when I say, I get it!!! You have young children and you time has to be on them and crafting to relax. So no worries about visiting!!! At least not with me. Now I busy myself with grandchildren and they will always come first before blog visiting as would have my children. So you are making the right decisions my friend. Now onto your cards! Wow, what a fabulous mix of cards! I totally love the first one, so gorgeous. Your other cards are just so sweet and fun! I say that you are using your time well! Hugs, Brenda

  11. Vicki, your cards are just a delight! I love the softness and wonderful look to your cards, like little storybook drawings! What a great eye for detail and color you have ~ glad I took the courage to click on the thumbnail and come take a closer look :)(friend of Jim's here!) I'm a new follower now and hope that mommytime continues to lean it's way to craftytime - mom of 4 here, I get you :) LOL! Blessings!
