-This unique piece is a ceramic hand made pit fired bowl using ancient process of firing. It was one of the bowls that showed in exhibition in the 'artist house' gallery in Tel aviv. Pit firing is a magical unglazed ceramic process whereby all the colors are producted in a pit in the ground when organic materials catch fire and produce atmospheric effects as the organic swirl and create unique patterns of smoke and colors in the bowl. This is one of my favorite processes of firing my ceramics. I
