Arbor Pull-Tie Quilt

The Arbor Quilt is a traditional hand made quilt, made with a variety of cotton, wool and suiting fabrics. The design features an elegant arrangement of patterned period fabrics in the traditional Hexagon pattern made popular in 1930s. The style of quilting dates back to the 1770s in England and became popular again in the 1830s. In 1835 Godey's women's magazine published a pattern for this block called the Hexagon pattern.
