I call this linocut print "Grumpy Owl", and you can see why. Whenever I look at him, I'm reminded of someone in my family. Doesn't every family have one? I designed, cut, inked and hand-pulled this onto quality Nepalese paper the weight of cardstock. It's a wonderful paper made of the inner bark of certain trees in Nepal, and the stalks renew themselves every year (so no trees are killed). It has four "deckle" edges.
