The research sought to investigate if Zimbabwe is on the advent of being radicalised to extreme v... more The research sought to investigate if Zimbabwe is on the advent of being radicalised to extreme violence. To answer the research questions and as well as to achieve the objectives of the research, data was collected from a sample extracted from the Zimbabwe National Army, Zimbabwe Republic Police, Central Intelligence Organisation and Non- Governmental Organisations being key informants to the study.
Furthermore, the study relied on information from published documentary sources. Data collected was presented using pie charts and tables and later followed by a discussion and analysis of the data presented. The analysis used 3Ps factors to Radicalisation Scientific Review is its theoretic framework testing the phenomenon to suggest a hypothesis of why and how radicalisation to Extreme Violence and Terrorism could be a possible threat beyond 2021. The findings of the research have revealed that although there has not been serious terrorist activity in Zimbabwe, the nation is at risk of being radicalised to extreme use of violence and which can easily mutate into terrorism

Largely in reaction to modernization theory and free trade policies, which originated in the West and to encounter the capitalism development of the West that was the major cause of underdevelopment and poverty to the Third world countries. As a Theory that seek to liberate the Third World from the West Capitalism which according to the progenitors is the key and sole cause of the poverty and under development of the so called periphery countries. To a greater extend the theory managed to explain the trap that was created by colonialism and now globalization, seeking to keep the periphery countries in poverty and under development. Through unequal trade, unequal labor and cheap remuneration and further exploitation of natural resources making the periphery poor and under developed.Does the Theory sufficiently address the problem of underdevelopment in the so called Third World countries? What are the proposed Socio-Political strategies to liberate the periphery countries from the Capitalistic model of Neo-Colonialism to free States that are self dependent?
