Viren's henchmen (Japanese: ブルガンの部下 Bourgain's henchmen) are a group of three recurring characters who first appeared in The Young Flame Strikes Back!.
History
They arrived at Paniola Ranch with Viren, who was keen on buying the ranch and turning it into a resort hotel. When Kiawe and his family declined the offer, two of them assisted Viren in harassing Kiawe's family. When Kiawe defeated Viren, they attempted to excavate the whole farm under Viren's orders. However, they were stopped in the nick of time by Officer Jenny and placed under arrest along with their boss.
One of them briefly reappeared in a flashback in A Young Royal Flame Ignites!.
They physically appeared again in The Long Vault Home!, where they assisted Viren in putting a golden statue on top of a Stakataka, which they believed to be a pedestal. This caused Stakataka to become angry, but the statue was eventually knocked off by Ash and Pikachu.
In Living on the Cutting Edge!, with the Viren Stadium and Viren Tower now complete, they and Viren were practicing for the inauguration ceremony for the stadium, only for a Kartana to arrive and slice Viren's golden statue in half.
Character
Viren's henchmen are as corrupt as their boss and will gladly assist him in his illegal and underhanded schemes. However, they are sometimes known to slack off to the point where they have to be yelled at to resume working, as seen in The Long Vault Home!. They are also shown to be extremely sycophantic, unconditionally agreeing with whatever Viren says.
