Pikachu's family (ピカチュウの家族Pikachū no kazoku) is a pair of characters of the day who appeared in Enter Pikachu!. Kangaskhan and her child are wild Pokémon who adopted Ash's Pikachu a few years before the beginning of the anime.

History

Kanghaskan and her two children

On the outskirts of the Pallet Town, near Professor Oak's lab, lived an abandoned Pichu which after being attacked by a group of wild Koffing ends up falling into a group of Kangaskhan. One of them ends up saving this Pichu when they are about to leave, eventually adopting the Pichu after seeing that he after seeing he has nowhere to go.

Days passed and mother Kangaskhan had some difficulty feeding her two children. However, she always showed a positive attitude towards them.

A few more days passed and after the baby walked away from her mother running after a wild Mew she was playing with. Not before, Pichu and his mother go in search of the little Pokémon. Due to his curiosity, the baby almost has an accident while trying to follow the Mew, the Kangaskhan baby is eventually saved by Mew's powers, which caught the attention of some children who were nearby.

Later, during a rainy day, Kangaskhan and her family take shelter in a cave to protect themselves. Seeing his mother's suffering to take care of him, Pichu decides to separate himself from the Pokémon that welcomed him when his mother eventually falls asleep. Amid the sadness of separation, Pichu finally evolves into Pikachu and bids farewell to his family.

Kangaskhan and her baby appeared again in a flashback in Mind-Boggling Dynamax!.

Personality and characteristics

The mother is extremely dedicated to her children, very loving, even with difficulties and lack of food, she makes sure that both her baby and Pichu feed. Even when extremely exhausted from walking in the rain, she protects the both baby Pokémon.
