A very rare Berry. It's so sour that it could make people cry, so you need to use it little by little by dividing it into small pieces.

Trivia
- The in-game descriptions for the Rowap Berry state that it activates when the holder "is hit by a special attack", but this is technically incorrect as there are cases in which the holder of the berry can be hit by a special movie but take no damage, thereby not activating the berry. For example, if a Pokémon holding a Rowap Berry is on 1 HP and uses the move Endure, and is then hit by a special attack from another Pokémon, the Pokémon being hit will survive and take no damage, but the berry's effect will not trigger, causing the attacking Pokémon to not lose 1/8 of its max HP. The Rowap Berry therefore requires that the holder takes damage from special attacks by another Pokémon for its effect to trigger.
Origin
The Rowap Berry's design may be based on a Syzygium species berry. Its name may be based on a rose apple or a water apple.
