Pokémon Futsal is a limited Pokémon Trading Card Game collection released in conjunction with the ongoing partnership between The Pokémon Company International and The Football Association. The cards were distributed periodically in England from September 11, 2020.
Information
Beginning September 6, 2019, The Pokémon Company International entered a three-year partnership with the English Football Association as part of a drive to increase participation in the sport of Futsal across the country. For the 2019-20 season, selected schools and clubs that signed up to The FA Pokémon Youth Futsal Programme received exclusive Pokémon bundles containing equipment and accessories for use in matches. For the 2020-21 season, the promotion expanded to incorporate the TCG, which saw the release of five special Futsal-themed Pokémon "on the Ball" trading cards. Four of these were available as gifts with purchase through the retailer GAME, either at participating stores across England or on their website, while the fifth was included in kit bundles sent to selected applicants of The FA Pokémon Youth Futsal Programme for that season.
