Makoto Ishii (Japanese: 石井真 Ishii Makoto) is a Japanese voice actor for Pokémon the Series.
Biography
Ishii was born on February 24, 1976, in Chiba, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, and became a voice actor as an adult. He occasionally lent his voice to the animated series during Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire and Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl. Then, during Pokémon the Series: Black & White, he voiced his best-known role, which was Cress, one of the three Striaton City Gym Leaders and brothers. Ishii is currently affiliated with Remax.
