Release information

This card was included in the Surging Sparks expansion, first released in the Japanese Super Electric Breaker expansion, with artwork by Sekio. An SVP Black Star Promotional print of this card with new artwork by buchi was one of the Prerelease promos for Surging Sparks, available in the Surging Sparks Build & Battle Box. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was given to those overseeing Prerelease Tournaments. A Non Holofoil version of the Surging Sparks card was also included in the Surging Sparks Build & Battle Box.

This card features the male form of Indeedee. Super Psy Bolt's Japanese name is derived from the Japanese name of Confusion, a move in the Pokémon games that Indeedee cannot learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Violet.
