Gurdurr Crew
Gurdurr Crew (Japanese: ドテッコツ組 Gurdurr Company) is a facility in Pokémon Paradise unlocked after completing another job request after obtaining a Sturdy Vine for Gurdurr. Gurdurr, using materials, will prepare new land in Pokémon Paradise, build new facilities or redecorate the house and the facilities. There are eight areas in Paradise that can be prepared and designed into four different designs.
Areas
Four area designs are available and can be changed at any time for their respective cost. Each area (except the player's house) can contain four facilities.
Pokémon capability
The number of areas prepared determines the maximum amount of recruitable Pokémon (including the player's house):
Number of Areas | Number of Recruitable Pokémon |
---|---|
1 | 64 |
2 | 80 |
3 | 96 |
4 | 120 |
5 | 144 |
6 | 176 |
7 | 208 |
8 | 248 |
9 | 288 |
Facilities
In order to build facilities, the player has to talk to the signboard (there are four in each area) at the desired spot which will summon Gurdurr and his crew. Once built, each facility is attended by a random Pokémon (with the exception of Starmie, Beartic and Meloetta). After building three facilities, Gurdurr will start upgrading existing facilities. If a duplicate facility is to be built, multiple resources are required. After nine facilities have been built, Gurdurr will start removing facilities if desired. Because the entire Paradise can only contain 32 facilities, it is impossible to have every type of facility built at the same time. The facility attenders may also abandon their facility, leaving it empty and unable to be used. If this happens, the player must have Gurdurr tear down the facility.
Redecorating
After six facilities have been built, Gurdurr will start painting and coloring facilities, except for the mini-games and Music Paradise. By default, all facilities are colored "Normal" and all fields are colored "Yellow". After reaching Perfect Rank, Gurdurr adds Gold, Silver, Copper, and Crystal to the list of possible colors for facilities.

Changing Clerks
After a certain number of facilities have been built, Gurdurr allows the player to change the Pokémon running a facility. Doing this does not cost any Poké or require any materials. The Detour Guide, Beartic Slide, Digger's Den, Sunken Treasure, and Music Paradise facilities cannot have their clerks changed. Dojos also cannot have their clerks changed. There are sixteen possible clerks to choose from, and some that cannot be chosen.
