Release information
This card was included in the Sun & Moon expansion with artwork by Megumi Mizutani, first released in the Japanese Collection Sun and Collection Moon. It was also printed in the Japanese Sun & Moon Starter Set released on the same day, December 9, 2016. A Mirror Holofoil reprint was later included in the Japanese Sun & Moon subset on January 27, 2017. In Japan, this card was reprinted with new artwork by the same artist as one of the SM-P Promotional cards, available as part of a nine card promotional pack awarded to those who participated in the Pokémon Card Gym tournaments from the month of February 2017 through the month of April 2017. This card features the Card Gym logo. A Cosmos Holofoil version of the Sun & Moon print was given away at Toys "R" Us stores on February 4, 2017 to celebrate the expansion's release. It features the store logo in the bottom left corner of the artwork.
A new SM-P Promotional print with new artwork, also by the same artist, was made available in the Lillie & Cosmog Special Box on June 17, 2017. The first SM-P print was released in English as one of the SM Black Star Promos, included as one of two Cosmos Holofoil cards available in the Burning Shadows Three Pack Blisters released on August 4, 2017. The Sun & Moon print was reprinted as a Confetti Holofoil in the English McDonald's Collection 2017 and as a Non Holo in the Japanese Solgaleo-GX & Lunala-GX Legendary Starter Set. The SM Black Star Promo was later included in General Mills Sun & Moon Mini Packs found in Fruit Roll-Ups and Pokémon Fruit Flavored Snacks, with a new Sequin Holofoil pattern.
