Hidden disability
Fatigue, pain, digestive issues, focus, learning, masking, disordered eating, being seen as unreliable are just some of the aspects that many deal with daily, before they start a daily routine or schedule. Often belittled unknowingly by those who are unaware or simply are unable to see it from another angle. Positive thinking
It’s very easy when the mind is battling itself to remain positive and not to take things personally. Often the mind can become a war zone of intrusive and negative thoughts. That can manipulate positive thoughts and well being. Instead creating a narrative that is negative and self destructive. Learning to recognise those patterns and processes is the beginning of taking back control, in hypnotherapy we call them Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANT’s). Learning to overcome triggers
it’s often easy to ab- react to a situation or person. And that reaction is often from a something that is triggered by words, actions, environment or situations. Learning how to respond to those triggers can be tricky and overwhelming. Learning to love yourself
Today is a day that can be difficult for some. Navigating their way through the Valentine’s Day marketing and exposure that is in every corner of the spaces we live in. Being in shops, articles, social media, discussions and news. For some the battle is a struggle, maybe having lost one they love, or being in a relationship that is more toxic than loving, or being alone and simply disconnected from today’s theme. So let’s reframe. Love comes from within first, radiating out into the external spaces and interwoven into relationships and life itself. Learning to love the self for all you are is a deep healing that often soothes wounds from as far ago as childhood that is then taken forward into adulthood.
