D&D character inspiration

Lillian (Lil’) Grey is my gnome rogue and I’ve modeled her personality after that of my cat. Any comments about her hight or attempts to pet/ pat her are met with a dagger. She is aloof, loves food, and quickly goes from being cute and loving to mildly homicidal. She and her older brother grew up on the streets as thieves but when Kian was caught he told her to find a better life... she heard better score.

Because Grey is so short she can’t carry her rapier on her hip. Instead she has a custom leather harness that lets her carry it essentially in her armpit. It still trails behind her a bit but not like a mouse tail. Also, when she draws it, there’s a bit of a toss and catch because her arms arn’t long enough. There’s a similar little feat of acrobatics to get it back in but she has years of practice to make it effortless.

Note: must befriend squirrel at some point. Use as a “pocket translator” for larger creatures.

Kian, Lillian’s brother, was also a rouge. More of an assassin type than a thief. He’s responsible for her name. He used to call her ‘little grey’ and she would call him ‘big red’. After he was hung she created the identity Lillian Grey to honor him and remind her of the promise she made.
Lillian’s ashy grey hair, the source of her brother’s nickname for her (Grey), is also what marked her as not her father’s daughter as both he, his wife, and their son, had rusty red hair. Morgan doesn’t know who fathered her but she doesn’t much care either. Her brother and the thieves’ guild was all the family she needed growing up. Now, in her 80’s, she doesn’t need anyone except for her coins.
