National museum of Sweden presents Hella Jongerius’s exhibition Breathing Colour which is a visual installation that features the results of her longstanding research into colour, shape, light and materials.

These animal-filled porcelain bowls were meticulously crafted by hand and designed by Hella Jongerius for a commission by Nymphenburg, a Bavarian porcelain manufacturer since the mid-18th century. Designer Hella Jongerius will exhibit a collection of handmade, artificial flowers at Galerie Kreo in Paris next week. The flowers are made of glass, leather, wood and paper, and displayed in vases made of mixed materials, including ceramic, resin, wood, fabric and blown glass.
