I found a great use for scraps....make them into a quilt block to be used on a card or scrapbook page! The template for these cards is on the Scrapedia website. In order to make the quilt block the "main attraction" I kept the rest of the card fairly simple. Today's Free 4 All challenge was to color block on our project. I decided to create a little paper quilt with some of my Stella & Rose scraps from My Mind's Eye. After laying them all out and adhering them to my cardstock base, I paper pierced around every single square. I then used an archival pen to make a faux zig zag stitch around the squares. This is a quilt card I made back in January at my up line's (Chris Smith) home. I added the embossed flower using the Daydream Medallions stamp set along with the SAB stamp set Madison Avenue. These two stamp sets work well together. The flower petals were made with the Floral Frames Framelits die.
