I've got an amazing 4th floor apartment with these HUGE windows. their like 3 normal windows side by side to make one, and there are 4 of these Big windows. But very little space/organization here. I'm not allowed to paint (boo!) or do anything 'permanent' such as building a loft with the 10ft ceilings. :\ So I need ideas on what to do. Also anyone have a DIY for a king sized loft bed that can also be dissembled later? It needs to hold a 260lb hubby and myself lol

when i think of converted lofts - this is what i think of. an old industrial building with exposed beams and bricks, metal that's rusting and an uneven floor with columns sticking out all over. a big space like this needs to be made intimate and small for comfort - like making a giant canopy over the bed.
