The beauty of poinsettias...




Did you know that today is Poinsettia Day here in the United States? Pink, white, red ~ I love this gorgeous winter bloom. This year I have red ones in the dining room and pink and white ones in the living room. They're such a natural, easy way of adding a little beauty to the holidays.

    What a beautiful home you have, Eileen! You definitely have a flair for decorating.

    Much as I love pink, red is my favorite color of poinsettia.

    Oh, I spied the "Downton Abbey" book on the table. We have the same book at our house. LOVE it!! And I will be using a "Downton Abbey" planner for 2013...lots of great photos in it.

    I really enjoy the pink ones, especially being in Florida for Christmas. I have a wooden pink flamengo that stands guard on the poinsettia with a red bow around his long skinny neck. Gives everything a little sense of humor :)
