Procession of the Aamu. The scene of the Aamu group, Asiatic nomadic traders who are sometimes considered Hyksos (the Hyksos were a mixed people of mainly Semitic-speaking origin) or at least their forerunners; the group, led by a man called Absha (or Abisha, Abishai). Abishai was the eldest son of Zeruiah, sister of the biblical King David. The meaning of his name is "Father of a gift". Abishai is also the name of the Semitic chief who offers gifts to Beni-Hassan depicted at tomb BH3 in Egypt.
