So please, if you visit these spots (or really any place in nature) practice leave no trace!! In just 6 months of living here, we’ve covered every region of the state from the desert, to the 10,000+ foot mountains, the ocean, hot springs, sand dunes…the list goes on (but yet there’s ALWAYS more to explore still!) 👇🏼These are the top 5 places you MUST visit if you’ve never visited Oregon👇🏼 1️⃣: Tokatee Falls This one can be hard to plan as it frequently is closed due to wildfires! Make sure to check trail conditions before visiting! 2️⃣: Smith Rock State Park Be prepared to pay
Joey on Instagram: "Canyon Creek Meadows, located in the Deschutes National Forest near Camp Sherman, Oregon, is a 7.4-mile loop trail known for its stunning alpine meadows, wildflowers, and views of the Three Fingered Jack volcano. The moderately challenging hike, with an elevation gain of about 1,597 feet, is popular for backpacking, hiking, and horseback riding. The best time to visit is from May through November, and dogs are welcome on a leash. Starting at the Jack Lake trailhead, the recommended clockwise route takes you through lower and upper meadows, offering scenic spots like a glacial pool. The Columbia River Gorge is one of our favorite places to hike in the fall/rainy months - the colors are beautiful and the waterfalls are FULL. 📍 Wahclella Falls is a trail we hike multiple times a year. It is so beautiful in all seasons but during the rainy, moody season, we think she looks her best 🙃 The trail is short - only 2 miles round trip with minimal elevation gain so its a great hike for kids and families. Have you hiked to this waterfall?? Let us know in the comments 😍 #oregon #oregonexplored #oregonwaterfalls #waterfallhike #hikingguide #pnw #pacificnorthwest #t

The series continues because let’s be honest…all of Oregon’s landscape could be from a story book! If you are wanting to explore these spots, here is a little more about each location. 🌿 Wahclella Falls This waterfall is a short 2 mile hike in the Columbia River Gorge. It is only about 45-minutes from Portland making it our go-to hike when we want a quick outdoor escape. 🌅 Cannon Beach This whole town is out of a story book. If possible, we recommend spending a few days here exploring the shops and local beaches. Tip: to escape the crowds at Haystack Rock, head to Ecola State Park for more secluded beaches and

Seattle Tasting Twins on Instagram: "We took a trip to Central Oregon this past weekend! Save this post for the next time you are planning a trip ⬇️ 🚗 We drove from Seattle which was about 6 hours (honestly not bad if you find some good podcasts) but you can also take a flight to the Redmond, OR airport! Here are our top 6 food experiences we had: 🥕 Farm to Table Dinner @rainshadoworganics: you take a tour of the farm and then literally dine in the middle of all the vegetables and flowers growing. 🍕 In Redmond, OR @graceandhammer pizzeria is located in an old church and it is STUNNING. Both indoor and outdoor seating (is it weird it kind of gave us beetlejuice vibes and we loved it). We got the Saint Stanley with pepperoni, sausaged, caramelized onions and Calabrian chiles. 🍹 @barr
Renee Anderson on Instagram: "(Almost) Every highlight on the Oregon Coast- North to South. It’s hard to pick a favorite zone of the coast. North Coast to me is where I went as a kid, every Saturday driving over from Portland with my parents. It’s full of Nostalgia for me- driving out on the sand, getting corn dogs. Arcades at Seaside and camping. Central Coast is my own place- I lived here and worked in Newport and Depoe Bay. I know every beach like the back of my hand. It’s where I tell everyone to go because it’s the easiest place to learn and do stuff- from the cool shops, restaurants, aquarium. It’s the best for kids I think. Plus the seafood. Then the South Coast- I love it there because it’s the most beautiful and remote and wild- turquoise waters and rock monoliths. A Dino p
