Mrs Moen on Instagram: "Draw/Paint 1 just (barely) finished their colorful playing cards before winter break. 🩵 We used our design thinking skills and started by drawing the basic shapes of animals in our sketchbook. I also invited students to invent their own creature if they wanted! We used what we had on hand to add color and pattern, but I am hoping to teach watercolor techniques before this next time so they might have more choice of media. Overall, LOVED seeing my students get creative with this project!"
