The flocculating activities of the cell free culture supernatants containing bioflocculant were analyzed using spectrophotometric method. 5 strains exhibited the highest flocculating activity were identified using 16S rRNA gene nucleotide sequence analysis. The strains were identified as Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (2 strains), Pseudomonas koreensis, Microbacterium oleivorans and Chryseobacterium indologenes. In addition, it was determined the optimum incubation time for the maximum flocculating activity. B. amyloliquefaciens AS21a was found to have the highest flocculating activity after 16 h incubation period. For this reason, this strain was used for production and purification of bioflocculant. The structural properties of the purified bioflocculant were determined by total protein and carbohydrate analysis, FTIR spectroscopy analysis. It was concluded that the bioflocculant is a biopolymer containing protein and carbohydrate. The effects of pH and purity degree of kaolin using as a flocculating material on the bioflocculating activity were also investigated. The highest flocculating activity was obtained at pH 8.0 using pure kaolin.

Due to inexpensivity of production of those nanomaterials, there are dozens of breakthrough around the World. Bacteriorhodopsin (BR) is one of the most important nanobiomaterial, because of its robustness, stability and crystalline structure. In this study; BR purificated from Halobacterium Salinarum, absorbance of BR has been measured and BR's surface analyzed with XRD.
