La Malinche

La Malinche, also known as Marina or Malintzin, was a Nahua woman who was native to the Mexican Gulf Coast and is widely known as being a key interpreter for the Spaniards in their conquest of the Aztec Empire. She was given to the Spanish conquistadores as a slave and would later give birth to one of the first Mestizos.
