I made a quilt JUST like this one last year. I love this pattern..... Actually.... I'd probably like any PATTERN using all those little 1 1/2" wide scraps of color! The back is pretty too!!! A couple of you wondered how I made that spiral log cabin baby quilt. It began right here with two little, itty-bitty 1 1/2" squares. This pattern is also a courthouse steps block variation. New baby quilts were on my list of goals for the month, so this one isn't a total distraction from the to do list, but the urge to try it hit me late one night and wouldn't let go until I made the quilt a week or so later. Remember the Spiral Log Cabin blocks I started for my January NewFO? I haven't made any more of them, but they're always on my mind in that rotating list of things I'd like work on as soon as I get a chance.
