Jessica Kesti | 📍Arizona | Hiking + Adventures on Instagram: "did you know you can kayak the Colorado below the iconic Horseshoe Bend? 🤩 here’s how to plan your trip: [SAVE for a future visit] 📅 about a month prior, I reserved kayaks online from @kayakthecolorado and chose a departure time. kayak rental is $35/person per day. there is also an $80 backhaul fee per person to transport you upstream in one of their boats. total cost: $115 per person plus tax. 🚣‍♀️ on the morning of our departure, we drove to the boat launch at Lee’s Ferry, boarded the boat and got ferried up to our starting point at Petroglyph Beach. from there we kayaked back to our car at Lee’s Ferry, about 10 miles. the whole trip took us about 6 hours, including our lunch stop and a couple small hikes. we packed ou Glen Canyon, Hiking Adventures, Arizona Hiking, Your Trash, Protective Clothing, Horseshoe Bend, Tag Someone, The Boat, Plan Your Trip

A wonderful weekend in Page. We got up to Page late Friday night and checked into @hyattplacepagelakepowell. Saturday morning we woke up bright and early for sunrise at Horseshoe Bend! Fun fact, I hadn’t been to Horseshoe Bend since 2018 (so back when it was a dirt lot) so it was interesting going back but it’s so popular for a reason, it really is a beautiful view. After sunrise we headed back to the hotel and showered and ate breakfast (their breakfast bar was on point)! Then we went to ...
