It’s basically a combination of glazes that create a visual that often resembles a frozen pond. The Key glaze being RHC (Running Hot Chowder) from @spectrumglazes on an @amacobrent Obsidian base glaze and. Third glaze atop the RHC dots. It was primarily developed for flat plates and has expanded to include many more surface. Credit to @klm4655 Kathy McGuire for sharing her magic with the pottery community.
