After a degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering, I started out my IT Career in Wireless Networking about six years into this century. I dabbled in IT Service Management which gave me a broad view of the modern corporate IT environment and I consider myself a strong proponent for adherence to documented processes. I fell in love with MS SQL Server at the beginning of this decade and pursued more advanced knowledge in both MS SQL Server and Oracle Database Technologies for a period of seven years.
Over the years I have branched out to Cloud Computing on AWS, Oracle MySQL and Big Data (Theory only). My roles between 2015 and 2018 gave me the opportunity to grapple with a complex and demanding applications in the Financial Sector and such technologies as Failover Clustering, Real Application Clusters, Transaction Log Shipping, Dataguard, Table Partitioning, Address Windowing Extensions, Recovery Manager and so on.
Technically speaking, I have handled a variety of tools and learnt new technologies such as AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Column Store Indexes, In-Memory OLTP, Buffer Pool Extension and so on. I have also been exposed to the management side of things, leading a group of fifteen Database Administrators while maintaining my hands-one skills. In the middle of 2019, I delved into Enterprise Architecture.
I currently work with the Enterprise Architecture team of a bank with a footprint across 33 African countries. I participate in enforcing governance, designing new systems and generally leading transformation initiatives along with other experienced technologists while pursuing a master's degree in Enterprise Architecture Management.
I am also active on Social Media where I publish content on small business, African development and my Christian faith.

This interview lasted over one and half hours so we broke it into parts to enhance the experience of consuming it. In this first part, we focus on UC's background, upbringing and family life. We delve into how these contributed to her current venture with LifePoints.
In subsequent parts of the interview, we shall dig deeper into what LifePoints does to help young people. Let us know in the comments if you would like to see Part II.

The task can be achieved by leveraging existing techniques and frameworks to ensure that key concerns such as data integrity and reasonable timelines are addressed. Oracle Golden Gate Cloud is being proposed as the key technology required to migrate data from the legacy IBM mainframe environment running IBM DB2 to an Oracle 12c database instance.
Following the migration, the SWIFT Network will be used as the standard way of processing financial messages. Concerns raised regarding the security of the SWIFT Network are addressed using SWIFT's own recommendations which were developed mostly after major breaches in 2016.
The way this combination of business requirement understanding, technology and frameworks are used to deliver the migration project in a timely manner are detailed in this document.

We also see convergence of these technologies happening at an ever-increasing rate. This convergence is so much so that we observe that the boundaries among related technologies are becoming more and more blurred. Cyber-Physical Systems - the integration of computing with the physical worlds using network capabilities - are a significant example of such a convergence.
In this report, the author explores the technologies that enable Cyber-Physical Systems, the dominant application areas for Cyber-Physical Systems and the known challenges on the road to large scale deployment of these systems. In discussing these subject areas, the definitions, impact and influence of Cyber-Physical Systems are explored to a moderate level of details with appropriate illustrations and references.

Collison and Cook (2007) point out that the knowledge society emerged in the 1960s being driven by such factors as advances in technology, international mobility and the Internet (worth being mentioned separately). The emergence of the knowledge society was a very serious paradigm shift given the nature of the previous age of the corporate world earlier sparked by what is known as the industrial revolution (Collison & Cook, 2007). Companies which survived this transition were those who were not blinded to the future by the predictability of the industrial age but rather prepared for a new age (The Information Age) by embracing what is now known as Organizational Learning and implementing early forms of Knowledge Management. Hunter (2016) asserts that we are now advancing from the Information Age to another age called the Knowledge Age: “… better decisions utilizing wisdom-infused knowledge rather than just information.” (Hunter, 2016).
Organizational Learning is the “…process of creating, retaining, and transferring knowledge within an organization.” Organizational Learning is born out the experience of an organization. Knowledge creation, retention and transfer are adaptive processes that are functions of experience. Organizational learning is the foundation upon which a company builds Knowledge Management.

To conduct this study, existing research on the concept of digital transformation, key success factors and the impact of digital transformation on various industries, was consulted. Replete research on the subject provided a good foundation for analysis of tacit knowledge mined from interviews conducted as the main approach to acquiring data for the current work. A qualitative analysis approach was employed, utilizing thematic analysis of interview data based on Brawn and Clarke's methodology. Interview data from six technology leaders of commercial banks in Ghana, represents the opinions of approximately 25% of the total number of commercial banks in the country.
The findings of this research indicate that digital transformation has had a positive impact on operational efficiency in Ghanaian banks following the 2020 pandemic. Through digital transformation projects, banks were able to optimize costs, enhance human resource management, improve customer engagement, and increase revenue. Factors such as stakeholder engagement, government support for banking initiatives, and movement restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic played a significant role in the success of digital transformation projects carried out by Ghanaian banks.
