Corset Covers/Undergarments (late 19th century)

Week 1 - First assignment at ESMOD. Upcycling a shirt using the draping method. I'm really inspired by the beautiful and delicate undergarments that would be hidden under ornate dresses. Fitted over the figure in lines that match the bodice cut (its purpose is to support the silhouette) An intimate garment is given prominence. Appreciation for the intricacy of undergarments from the late 19th century. even the pieces that were hidden, seen by very few were beautiful.
