This moonscape was created using cloud dough (sometimes actually called moon sand!). It’s made from flour and oil and is soft and crumbly but mouldable too. . To make cloud dough I mix 4 cups of flour with 1/2 cup of vegetable oil. If you have a child who may try to eat cloud dough it’s best to bake the flour at 350F/180C to ensure there’s no bacteria present in it. . To create this colour I grated a small piece of charcoal into the mixture. You can also add colour using chalk or powder paint. I also added a bit of bio glitter too. Cloud dough keeps for ages when stored in an air-tight container so it’s great for using over and over again. . Other items I added to this tray were some stones, glass pebbles and our @safariltd toobs space set.
