It is my absolute favourite and there are a few ways to do it! This is a simple beginner friendly way and I hope you give it a go!   The needle inside in this video is a 6mm blunt needle The yarn that I use is 200g acrylic, this is a personal preference and a yarn that I find so nice to work with!   I use purple fabric pens! They are air/water erasable! 1.	Whipped Back Stitch:
	🧵Back Stitch Base: Start by creating a simple back stitch along the line where you want your stem. 
	🧵Whipping the Stitches: Once the back stitch base is complete, bring your needle up at the start of the line and, without piercing the fabric, thread it under each back stitch, spiraling around them. This gives the appearance of a twisted rope.
	🧵Stem Stitch:
	•	Starting the Stitch: Bring your needle up through the fabric at the starting point (A). Make a small stitch by bringing the needle down a short distance away (B) and then bring it up again midway between A and B and repeat the process as shown.
This creates a slightly slanted line that mimics the look of a natural stem.
