I thought this was pretty cool. You could do any color blossom really, spray paint the branches a particular color as well, use hot glue rather than tape. Forgive me, the site it comes from is in Japanese or Korean. A little hard to navigate at times.

I created this illuminated mixed media shadowbox for the Goodwill Ultimate Upcycling Contest (click the image to vote) using a hollow metal letter “O” in which I installed battery-operated LED lights, clear elastic loops to secure the bulbs in place, various paints, acrylic sealant, cardboard backing from a paper pad (used to reprint the 1930s snapshot), and salvaged steel from a cookie tin. All components, with the exception of epoxy and the batteries, were sourced from local Goodwill store...
