A downloadable tool for Windows and macOS

This is your personal time tracker, a to-do list, and a glossary.

It can save your...

  • Tasks. It helps you not to forget to do important things and learn how much time you’ve already spent on them.
  • Terms. Your projects, the things you are interested in, places, books, music, and everything you want to save.
  • Time logs. Each log is connected to a term from your glossary, divisions of activities (Visual, Audio, Code), and type of activities (Search, Planning, Implementation). There are some default divisions and types, but you can create yours and delete the ones you do not need.
Terms support markup editing:
  • # title
  • - list
  • *bold*
  • _italic_
  • [link https://google.com | google]

Marvellous!

I really enjoy using Mu Th Ur. I have it running in the startup. I think the design is sleek and distractionless and It really helps me to keep track over things that I do (the purpose of the app). Though I would imagine it would be extremly useful if it has a cloud/remote sync option (eg:Joplin). In this case one could use it in multiple systems and have everything documented in sync. I do not mean in anyway to say that its a shortcoming. Just a suggestion.

Any future plans on the app?

Thank you very much for your feedback!

I really could have written and run a server to sync and let the application run in a browser, but I deliberately gave up on that idea. Now the application is not dependent on anything and if I disappear somewhere it will remain functional. With servers, the ability to use the application will depend on whether I keep the server alive.

Plus, I would have to take responsibility for the privacy of your data, which is a serious and complex topic that I don't want to handle poorly.

It seems to me that the future of solving this problem lies in the area of decentralization. I am watching closely the development of peer to peer technology, but there is no elegant solution yet, developments in this direction are underway. Let's wait for the future :)

If there is anything else that could improve your experience with this application, I would be happy to hear and improve it.

Thank you for the quick response ! Appeictae that very much.

I understand  your concern regarding data privacy and  cant agree more to it. Of course there is an option to run it from a memory stick on multiple systems but then it has to be running the same OS. Maybe an option for data import ?
It took me a few times of usage to get familiar with the interactions with MuThUr but now I have to say its going very well.  At the moment the only thing I can imagine would be to expand  the possiblity to see the chart(data presentation) in different views. Im still struggling to make sense out of the graph at the bottom (maybe I havent logged in enough data to make sense out of it yet?). I also think that the charm of the application lies in its simplicity.

The graph at the bottom shows the amount of time spent on the selected item from the total logged time by day.

It is already possible to export the data to JSON. This has been added to allow you to use this data in your personal sites or recovery on a new PC. But I did not think about combining the data :(

I should have some free time next month, I'll try to come up with something to close this problem and refresh the application as a whole. I think it should be interesting :)

Thank you.

Indeed, I have tried the export option and its very handy with the format!

Looking forward to the updates !In the mean time, I wish you a nice holiday!

this is incredibly useful for tracking synchromystic magic, just saying. this is great work keep it up, and if you ever need a blessing or a talisman hmu as I'm too poor to pay for things rn ;__;

Just discovered this and it's really great! It takes some getting used to, but it works like a charm. Amazing job!
