ABOUT ME
I am an activist political scientist who brings issues of development, planning and rural and urban sustainability to the core of my work. I draw on development and poverty eradication theory to uncover the ways in which developing countries, primarily African, worldviews legitimize global political power structures.
My research is interdisciplinary and involves work on environmental planning, social development and rural sustainability through a focus on three overlapping areas of study: environmental politics and policy ( with attention to issues of sustainable development) policy studies ( especially science and technology) politics and development studies ( specifically people in rural community and development).
