Married to the love of my life, Dr. Lisa Mosconi. We live in the Bronx with our daughter, some gardens and trees, some fish in a pond, and the coyotes that eat them.
Typically found at the intersections between technology, science, and culture. For twenty years or so, much of what I've done rhymes with architecture. For a few years, it's rhymed with public health.
Most recently, head of Creative and Marketing for young biosafety / biosecurity companies since Jan 2020. Worked with colleagues to do some of the earliest work in the field as faculty at the MIT Media Lab. At the start of the pandemic, I was Lead for the Pandemic Task Force, and VP Comms and Marketing at Crossover Health.
Prior to microbial sensing and detection, I spent many years with other pioneers to design and build location-based games and services, including co-founding Area/Code, acquired to become Zynga New York in 2011.
