Associate Professor Anete Strand is driven by exploring the significance of materiality in organizational development and change, professional supervision practices, and learning and idea-generation processes more broadly. Anete teaches, supervises, and conducts workshops in areas such as communication, storytelling, organizational change, as well as data and knowledge forms. She also advises both private and public organizations on development and transformation. In addition, through her research, Anete Strand has developed the method *Material Stories*, which involves using small figurines to evoke experiences and gain deeper insights into a particular issue or topic. The method is conducted in a laboratory at AAU Innovate, which serves as a platform for both research and workshops. Anete is currently working on certifying the method. Anete Strand teaches and supervises Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. students at the Department of Communication and Psychology, particularly focusing on Bachelor's students in Communication and Digital Media, Master’s students in Communication, Master’s students in PROF, IT Management, and Bachelor's students in Organizational Learning. In her teaching, Anete emphasizes the use of diverse pedagogical methods, including "objects as prompts" to encourage students to draw upon experiences, sensory impressions, and pre-understandings. For the past ten years, she has been the main architect behind the comprehensive camp course *Virksomme processer* for Master's students, which is built on close collaboration with four to six companies, tackling their real-world challenges. Anete Strand is a member of the Study Board for Communication and Digital Media (KDM), where she contributes to developing future educational programs. Over many years, Anete has served as semester coordinator for the Master’s program in Communication. Additionally, she has led the research unit *Material Story Lab*, which has made her one of the key thinkers behind the current *Play Lab* at AAU Innovate, Aalborg University’s Science and Innovation hub.
